TESTING PROCEDURES
Connect the product to testing wiring no. 5.
Check that any tester switch is set to OFF and that the knobs are all rotated in counter-clockwise
direction.
Once the product has been connected, set the switch +12 V Batt. to ON.
Set the switch +12 V Sc to ON.
By rotating the LAMBDA knob in both direction, the LED CPU of the tester will turn off.
In this condition you check the correct connection of the oxygen sensor with the GASOLINE running
vehicle.
This signal enters the product and comes out without being altered.
Set the switch +12 V Gas to ON, by thus simulating the switching to GAS of the vehicle.
The LED CPU on the tester will start blinking by showing the simulated shifting supplied by the
product.
By rotating the LAMBDA knob on the tester in both directions, the three LEDs on the product turn on
according to the following logic:
- weak lambda signal (knob to minimum) = GREEN LED on;
- right lambda signal (knob to minimum) = YELLOW LED on;
- rich lambda signal (knob to minimum) = RED LED on.

vehicle.
This signal enters the product and comes out without being altered.
Set the switch +12 V Gas to ON, by thus simulating the switching to GAS of the vehicle.
The LED CPU on the tester must remain turned off.
By rotating the LAMBDA knob on the tester in both directions, the three LEDs on the product turn on
according to the following logic:
- weak lambda signal (knob to minimum) = GREEN LED on;
- right lambda signal (knob to minimum) = YELLOW LED on;
- rich lambda signal (knob to minimum) = RED LED on.
Connect the product to testing wiring no. 3 and connect the faston elements in the following way:
Faston 1 = BROWN wire; Faston 2 = BLACK wire; Faston 3 = GREY wire; Faston 4 = RED-BLACK wire.
The remaining faston elements do not have to be connected.
Check that any tester switch is set to OFF and that the knobs are all rotated in counter-clockwise
direction.
Once the product has been connected, set the switch +12 V Batt. to ON.
Set the switch +12 V Sc to ON.
For some seconds the RED LED on the product and the CPU/CICC. LED on the tester will switch on and
then will turn off again.
Set the switch RPM to ON. The RED LED on the product and the CPU/CICC. LED on the tester will
switch on again.
By setting the switch RPM to OFF, these two LEDs will turn off with a slight delay.
This operation simulated the accidental switching off the vehicle engine and the consequent interruption
of the GAS outlet.
