Choosing a location

Before you position the device, please consider the
following points:
• Never position the device directly beneath a power

socket.
• Ensure that the device is stable and that no one can
trip over the power cable.
• Do not position the device on surfaces sensitive to

• Do not cover the device and ensure that it is not in

close proximity to furniture, walls or curtains.
• Ensure that it is not possible for children to play with
the device.
Filling up the water
• Remove the plug from the mains.
• Pour untreated tap water into the rear, left-hand
opening in the water container (2). There is a water
level indicator in the opening. Do not fill past the

maximum limit (max. 3.5 litres).
• Do not add scents etc. to the water.
Never pour water into the air intake or air ex-
haust at the top (danger of causing a short cir-
cuit) (3).
Start-up
Mains plug
• Insert plug into mains socket (230 V).
• Use the On/Off switch to turn the device on (the red

LED is then illuminated).

After use

• Use the On/Off switch to turn the device off.
Water tank
• Remove the plug from the mains.
• Pour out any remaining water and rinse the water
