Product Date Code

The product date code for the intrinsically safe battery packs can be found on the serial data plate
(on the side of the battery pack). At the end of the serial number, there will be two letters (for
example, 1234567-6KJ.) The last letter in the serial number is the year of manufacture (the letter
"J" in our example). Refer to the date code chart in Figure 1-8 to decode the letter.

Parameter
Fast charges until fully charged (~11 hours) and then continues to trickle
charge. To prevent damage in case a battery is not accepting a charge, the
charger automatically switches to trickle charge approximately 11 hours after
the start of the charge cycle.
