Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the 64060625/30538111 – designed as intrinsically safe to power
METTLER TOLEDO intrinsically safe terminals within hazardous, classified areas.
This NiMH battery pack was designed with safety as the very highest priority. To provide confidence
of this safety, the battery pack includes agency approvals from Factory Mutual and IECEx, and
certifications to the ATEX directive.
The 64060625/30538111s provide 10 volts to operate an intrinsically safe terminal. The battery is
designed to be used within the hazardous area but it must be recharged only in a safe area. Refer
to the approval markings on the battery's data label to determine suitability for the application.
