Please read these instructions carefully before putting the new battery into operation. Review the
warnings and precautions at the beginning of this manual and follow all instructions.

1.4.1. Temperature and Humidity
The 64060625/30538111s can be operated at temperatures ranging from −10° to 40° C (14° to
104° F) at 10% to 95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
The battery pack can be stored at temperatures ranging from –20° to 60° C (–4° to 140° F) at 10
to 95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
1.4.2. Environmental Protection
The battery pack is encapsulated internally and provides IP66 protection from the environment.

Special connectors are included to ensure that each battery pack is used only with its specified
charger and terminal
DO NOT INSTALL OR PERFORM ANY SERVICE ON THIS EQUIPMENT BEFORE THE AREA HAS
BEEN SECURED AS NON-HAZARDOUS BY PERSONNEL AUTHORIZED TO DO SO BY THE
RESPONSIBLE PERSON ON SITE.
ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS DETAILED IN THIS MANUAL. DEVIATION FROM THE INSTRUCTIONS CAN IMPAIR
THE INTRINSIC SAFETY OF THE TERMINAL AND VOID THE AGENCY APPROVAL.
WHEN THIS EQUIPMENT IS INCLUDED AS A COMPONENT PART OF A SYSTEM, THE RESULTING
DESIGN MUST BE REVIEWED BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE
CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF ALL COMPONENTS IN THE SYSTEM AND THE POTENTIAL
HAZARDS INVOLVED. FAILURE TO OBSERVE THIS PRECAUTION COULD RESULT IN BODILY
HARM AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
Choose a stable, vibration-free surface to mount the battery pack
Mount the battery pack in a protected area to prevent damage
Ensure the three meter (10 ft.) output cable will reach the intrinsically safe terminal
Confirm there are no caustic chemicals present that would attack stainless steel and require use
of a protective enclosure
