ASSEMBLE THE FRYER
• Place the fryer on a dry, horizontal surface.
• Put the bowl back into the body and push it downwards.
• Replace the control panel and the accessories. In order to
replace the control panel, slide it downwards to fit it in the
slots at the rear of the casing until it is firmly in position.
• NOTE: The appliance will only work when the control
panel is fitted properly in the outer lid.
• Press the ends of the handle of the basket to join them,
insert the bolts in the openings provided in the basket and
unfold the handle of the basket until it fits in order to remove
it easily.
• Place the rest of the cord in the cord storage compartment
at the rear of the appliance.

FIRST USE

• When using the appliance for the first time, pour the required
amount of oil into the bowl, making sure the level is between
the MIN and MAX marks on the inside of the bowl.
• You are recommended to use liquid oil suitable for frying.
Check the label on the recipient. If you want to use solid fat
(see also the previous safety measures), cut the fat into
pieces. Plug in the appliance, place the thermostat to the
minimum position ("MIN") and add the pieces little by little.
When the fat has melted, set the thermostat to the required
temperature. WARNING: FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH
THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL DAMAGE THE FRYER.
PREHEATING
• Once the appliance is switched on, set the thermostat to
the required temperature.
• To reach a correct, stable operating temperature, you need
to wait approximately 10 to 15 minutes. During this time,
