• You may have to prepare some foods before frying them.
Common preparations are batter or breadcrumbs.
• Always wait until the fryer has reached the required
temperature and the pilot light has turned off, before adding
the food.
• Do not overfill the basket.
CARE: This fryer has an integrated safety switch which is
activated if the appliance unexpectedly overheats (e.g. if the
temperature control stops working). If this happens, first of all,
turn off and unplug the fryer. Wait until the element cools down
(about 15 minutes). Then, press the reset button
the control panel, above the cord storage compartment, with the aid of a
toothpick. The fryer will restart. The fryer is then ready for use. In order to
ensure that this does not happen again, please read the instruction manual
carefully.
RECIPES
Chips
• You are recommended to fry the chips in two stages.
• Use old potatoes, not new ones. Cut the potatoes into
similar sized pieces. Wash them under the tap to reduce the
level of starch. Dry them fully and separate the pieces.
• Do not go over the recommended weight. When the
temperature has reached 180°C, place the chips in the
basket and lower the basket slowly into the oil.
• For 500 g of chips, fry them for 6 minutes at 180°C, and
then raise the basket.
• Wait until the pilot light goes out again, lower the basket
and fry them for another 2 minutes.
• Raise the basket and let the chips drain.
• For best results, before serving, dry them with kitchen paper
