Setting the flash mode (FLASH MODE)
When the exposure mode is set to PROGRAM AUTO or
APERTURE PRIORITY, the exposure is automatically
adjusted, and three flash modes are available. When the
exposure control is set to MANUAL EXPOSURE, the
exposure is manually adjusted, and two flash modes are
available.

Display the Menu display.

Select FLASH MODE by pressing v or V of the
control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Flash Mode display appears.

Select the flash mode by pressing v or V of the
control button.
For automatic exposure control
A : Auto flash
: Forced flash
: No flash
For manual exposure control
M : Forced flash
M : No flash

Press ENTER of the control button.
The selected flash mode is set, and the Menu
display is retrieved.
Making the aperture setting (APERTURE)
When the exposure mode is set to APERTURE
PRIORITY or MANUAL EXPOSURE, the aperture
setting can be made manually. The aperture values vary
depending on the zooming position.

Select APERTURE by pressing v or V of the
control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Aperture Setting display appears.

Selecting the shutter speed (SHUTTER)
When the exposure mode is set to MANUAL
EXPOSURE, the shutter speed can be selected.

Select SHUTTER by pressing v or V of the control
button.

The Shutter Speed display appears.

Select an appropriate shutter speed by pressing v or

The selected shutter speed is set, and the Menu
display is retrieved.
Revising the exposure (EXPOSURE)

The EV Compensation display appears.
