2. UNPACKING THE SUPPORT TROLLEY
For ease of transportation, the support trolley is supplied, dismantled, in a wooden case.
The 3rd wheel bar (11) and the counterweight carriage (12) are supplied as loose pieces in the
wooden case.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.1) Assembly (removal) of connecting 3rd wheel bar
Procedure for assembling, the counterweight carriage on the 3rd wheel bar (11) (Ref. to Fig. 3):
– Loosen the clamp (13).
– Insert the connecting 3rd wheel bar (11).
– Tighten the clamp (13).
Assemble the connecting 3rd wheel bar to the body of the support trolley as follows (Ref. to Fig. 3):
– Position the body of the support trolley (1) on a track using the handle (9b).
– Pull the pin (7) (see Fig 3) and fully insert the 3rd wheel bar into the aperture of the support trolley
up to the stop.
Type CS-EU support trolley:
– Release the pin (7) to secure the 3rd wheel bar (11): the counterweight carriage will then rest on
the opposite rail, allowing the support trolley: to roll along the track.
– To remove the 3rd wheel bar (11), pull the pins (7) and (13), slide the 3rd wheel bar from the
apertures.
Type CS-EU-TA support trolley:
– Release the pin (7) to secure the 3rd wheel bar on the support trolley (1).
– Loosen the two handles and adjust the 3rd wheel bar so that the third wheel (12) rests on the
opposite rail and the support trolley is able to roll along the track (Ref. to Fig. 3).
– After adjustment, tighten the handles.
– To remove the 3rd wheel bar (11), pull the pins (7) and (13), slide the 3rd wheel bar from the
bodies.
3.2) Releasing and securing the support mechanism
To release the support mechanism proceed as follows:
– Press on the area indicated by the arrow (Ref. to Fig. 3) and release the latch from the ring (4); the
support mechanism driven by the gas pressure spring (6), will automatically move to the maximum
open position (Ref. to Fig 4).
WARNING! gas spring extends rapidly, release with caution.
To avoid a sudden opening of the kinematism, grasp the handle (9) and accompany the
upward movement by hands.
– To secure the support mechanism, press on the handles (9a) (Ref. to Fig. 4) and secure the latch
to the ring (4).
