Product Removal

Warning: DO NOT remove the product while the individual is seated in the wheelchair.
For back canes WITHOUT push handles:
1. Loosen, but do not remove, the cane
clamp screws on each side.

Hardware Removal

Warning: In order to correctly and securely install the product, you MUST use the correct hardware. See "Hardware Selection".
Note: To replace hardware, follow the removal instructions and then follow the "Hardware Attachment" instructions.
Outer Cane Clamp Removal
1. For both sides, remove the cane clamp screw and the outer
cane clamp.
2. Continue with the "Hardware Attachment" section in this
manual.
Disc Removal
Note: Disc "A" is shown.
1. For both sides, remove the outer and inner cane clamps:
a. Remove the cane clamp screw and the outer cane clamp.
b. Remove the angle adjustment screw and the inner cane
clamp.
2. For both sides, remove the discs:
a. Turn the inner cane clamps upside down to drop out the
discs.
b. Pry the discs from both sides of the back shell. Use the
T-Handle Wrench or a small, flathead screwdriver (or other
tool).
Tip: Place the T-Handle Wrench in the center of the disc, and
move the handle in a circular motion.
3. Continue with the "Hardware Attachment" section in this
manual.

2. Lift to slide the product off the
wheelchair canes.
Inner Cane Clamp
For back canes WITH push handles:
1. On both sides, remove the cane clamp screw and the outer cane clamp.
2. Remove the product from the wheelchair.
