Cleaning and disinfection

Clean and disinfect the half mask after each use.
WARNING
!
The mask body must be cleaned thoroughly so that there are
no residues of skin care products on the mask body. Otherwise
the elasticity in the sealing area could be reduced and the
mask will not fit anymore.
Failure to comply with this warning may result in poisoning or
death.
CAUTION
!
Do not use solvents (e.g. acetone, alcohol) or cleaning agents
with abrasive particles for cleaning and disinfection. Use only
the described procedures and the specified cleaning agents
and disinfectants. Other agents, doses and exposure times
may cause damage to the product.
Undiluted agents are harmful to health when in direct contact
with eyes or skin. Therefore, wear protective goggles and
protective gloves when working with these agents.
Silicone half masks are prone to absorb cleaning agents and
disinfectants. Accordingly, skin irritation may also occur if the
following procedure is not observed.
1. Remove the respiratory filter or powered air purifying respirator or
air line breathing apparatus from the half mask.
2. Clean all parts with lukewarm water and Sekusept
a soft cloth (temperature: max. 30 °C, concentration depending on
the degree of contamination: 0.5 - 1 %)
3. Thoroughly rinse all parts under running water.
