8. OPERATION

1. On/Off switch
In order to turn the engine on and off follow the orientagions below:

Switch Positions:

OFF: For the motor, the switch must be placed in this position
ON: Keeps the engine on after start.
START: Starts the engine.(models with electric start)
• Return the key to the ON position after starting the engine.
• Do not use START for more than 5 seconds each time.
• If the engine does not start in 5 seconds, go back to the ON position and wait 10 seconds before trying again.
2. Manual Start
For manual start, pull the handle slightly until you find resistance, then pull sharply.
