Turning the engine off
Emergency Stop: In order to have an emergency stop just turn the generator's key to the OFF position.
Shutdown in case of emergency (diesel engines)
• Diesel engines do not have spark plugs as the ignition is made by compression. To turn off a diesel engine
you must perform the decompression of the chamber through a mechanical action (unlike gasoline engines,
where the circuit of spark plugs is shutdown). The steel cable that triggers the pressure relief valve should
be flat (otherwise the generator will not turn off). If necessary, in case of emergency, pull the decompression
lever as shown in the pictures below.

• The S13000TD model also has a pump to "bleed" the fuel. In the event of shutdown due to lack of fuel, after
refueling you should perform the pumping for the "bleeding" of the fuel nozzles before starting the engine.
• To activate the S5000TD generator it is necessary to put the release and compression levers down, as indi-
cated by the following pictures.
