WARNING: Do not release the cable sharply when starting. Return it smoothly to the original position to avoid
damages to the starting system.
3. Fuel Valve
The fuel valve is located between the fuel tank and the carburetor. When it is in the ON position, the fuel is
released to fill in the carburetor. Make sure the valve is kept in the OFF position while the generator is OFF.
4. Choke
The choke is used to enrich the air/fuel mixing during cold start. It can be opened or closed with the lever or ring,
manually.
Move the lever or ring to the CLOSED position to enrich the mixture and facilitate the engine start.
5. Overload Protector / Overload Switch
The overload protector or overload switch will open automatically in case of a short circuit or excessive elevation
of current. If the overload protector disarms, verify the application and make sure the load does not exceed the
one recommended for the generator before turning it on again.
6. Alert system of oil level (4 Stroke Models)
The alert system of the oil level was conceived to prevent damages to the engine caused due to working with
low oil level in the tray. Before the oil reaches critical levels to the working of the engine, the system will
automatically turn the engine off. The start will only be possible if the oil level is completed up to the regular
operation level.
