USING THE GENERATOR

BEFORE TURNING ON THE GENERATOR
Carefully check the electrical connections and make sure the generator and the equipment to be powered are
properly grounded. If you have any questions, consult a qualified electrician with knowledge of the equipment.
Contact Customer Service for any additional information.
After checking all the electrical connections both from the generator and from the automatic transfer switch
(ATS), if purchased, with regard to the load to be carried, turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
1. "START" BUTTON: performs the start-up of the generator when in the "OFF"
state.
2. "STOP" BUTTON: performs the shutdown of the generator when in the "ON"
state; alternates between the "AUTO" and "MANUAL" modes of the "automatic
transfer switch" - ATS (turns this function on and off).
3. "MENU/CONFIRM" BUTTON: accesses the configuration sublevels; saves the
changes; cancels the alarm; returns to the previous level.
4. "AUTOMATIC" BUTTON: changes to the "AUTOMATIC" mode when in "MANU-
AL" mode (turns on the ATS function).

5. "UP" BUTTON: increments parameter or navigates upward;
