Functional description PP40

The packing press is used to press chopped fruit. For this, the fruit mash is stacked in layers in the
juice collection pan (2) using the press grates and press cloths. The control lever of the hydraulic
valve (29) controls the upwards and downwards movement of the cylinder. Move the juice
collection pan with the stacked fruit mash into the pressing area and keep the lever of the hydraulic
valve pushed upwards in order to move the hydraulic cylinder (12) and the lifting plate (6) upwards.
The stacked mash is squashed against the pressing plate (7) and pressed. The pressed out juice is
collected in the juice collection pan and led into a tank via the drain (5). At the end of the pressing
process, push and hold the lever of the hydraulic valve (29) downwards to move the hydraulic
cylinder down and into the base position. Once the lifting plate has reached the bottom position, the
juice collection pan can be removed from the pressing area by pulling towards you. Remove the
pressed stack and repeat the work process described above.

Functional description PP80 / PP150

The packing press is used to press out chopped fruit. For this, the fruit mash is stacked in layers in
the juice collection pan (14) using the press grates and press cloths. These layers are pressed by
the hydraulic cylinder (27) and the lifting plate (15) against the pressing plate (22) and thus pressed
out. The machine is controlled with the operating elements (19). The juice pressed out is collected
in the juice collection pan and led into a tank via the outflow funnels (20). During the pressing
process, you can stack further layers in the second juice collection pan on the other side of the
turning bit (25). Once the pressing process has finished and the lifting plate is in the lower position,
the turning bit can be swivelled by 180°. Using the manual lever (18), the turning bit can be locked
or released. Restart the pressing process and clear the pressed out stack. This process can now
be repeated.
