1.4. Meat Hanging Trailer
Meat hanging trailers are designed to carry no more than the trailer's maximum
admissible load. The load must always be evenly distributed. The maximum
evenly distributed load per bar is 5 tonnes.
It is essential to lock the hook retainers
when loading to prevent the goods
from moving.
2. Chassis
2.1. Tailgates
Elevator tailgates must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's user
manual, which defines among other things the relevant mandatory checks.
2.2. Pallet Storage Box
This designed to carry empty pallets and, depending on the case, one or two
spare wheels.
The pallet box can take a maximum evenly distributed load of 800 kg.
2.3. Toolbox
The weight carried in the toolbox must not exceed 80 kg; the tools must be
arranged so as to prevent any damage to the toolbox.
2.4. Spare Wheel Carrier
The spare wheel carrier is designed to take one or two wheels of the type used on
the semitrailer or the tractor unit.
In the case of a longitudinal spare wheel carrier, remember to disconnect the
registration plate light when you remove the aluminium plate to access the spare
wheel(s). When you put it back, don't forget to reconnect the registration plate light.
