HOW TO USE THE SPLASH GUARD TO OPTIMIZE
TO ATTACH SPLASH GUARD:
1. Rotate control knob to off position "0" to turn unit off.
2. Unplug stand mixer.
3. After bowl and accessory are assembled to mixer, lift lever
to move mixer head to unlock position. The mixer head
should be in the middle of the upright position and the
downward position.
4. From the front of the mixer, slide the splash guard over
the bowl and accessory until it is centered (Figure A). The
inner ring of the backsplash should fit over the inner rim
of the bowl. Gently lower mixer head, ensuring it locks in
downward position (Figure B). A "click" sound will indicate
the mixer head has locked securely into position. Note:
The splash guard must be placed over both heat nozzles
(Figure C).
TO USE SPLASH GUARD:
1. For best results, always use splash guard when utilizing
HeatSoft technology.

2. When utilizing HeatSoft
cover closed for quicker results.
TO REMOVE SPLASH GUARD:
1. Rotate control knob to off position "0" to turn unit off.
2. Unplug stand mixer.
3. Lift the lever to move the mixer head to the unlock position.
The mixer head should be in the middle of the upright
position and the downward position. Lift the front of the
splash guard clear of the bowl rim and pull forward.
LED LIGHT (Figure D):
This stand mixer has an LED light on the mixer head. The LED
light allows for better visibility of mixture to ensure desired
consistency.
