3.4. Cleaning and maintenance

a)
Unplug the mains plug and allow the device to cool completely before each
cleaning, adjustment or replacement of accessories, or if the device is not
being used.
b)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to
sunlight.
c)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge it in water.
d)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and
spot any damage.
e)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
f)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a
metal spatula) because they may damage the surface material of the
appliance.
g)
Rinse the water tank and drum after each use (fill with water, then drain).
Keep the machine in order - remove the feathers and wipe the floor.

Possible cause
1. Scalding temperature is
too high.
2. The bird is too small.

Solution
1. Follow the recommended
temperatures in the table
above.
2. Use appropriate machine
models for smaller birds.
1. Shorten the fingers (trim
them) so that the bird can
rotate freely in the drum.
2. Check and adjust the
pulley belt.
3. Replace the starter
capacitor.
4. Check and correct the
positions of components at
the engine.
1. Replace the switch.
2. Check and fix the cable
connection.
3. Replace the capacitor.
4. Replace the engine.
