The handle pops up automatically.
The securing lever swings out automatically.

Swing out securing lever

Position the top case (included) in the front guides on both
sides of the sliding plate and push it forward until it is firmly
seated on the sliding plate.

Push the top case down and swing in securing lever
The securing mechanism engages in the sliding plate.

If the securing lever cannot be swung in, the top case
has not yet engaged in the correct position or the key is
not in the correct position.
