1. Introduction

The ilmo2 50 S WT motor is non-adjustable: a simple connection is all that is requi-
red. The ilmo2 50 S WT motor programs its end limits automatically.
The ilmo2 50 S WT motor comprises two inseparable components:
• the ilmo2 WT module, the component that houses the electronics of the motor,
and
• the S tubular module, which contains the drive part of the motor.
It can be controlled from a control point with a fixed position or momentary action-
type switch
The ilmo2 50 S WT motor is equipped with:
obstacle protection to protect the roller shutter when it is being lowered.

anti-freeze protection to protect the roller shutter when it is being raised.

This Somfy product must be installed by a professional motorisation and home auto-
mation installer, for whom these instructions are intended.

2.2 General safety advice

2.2.1 ilmo2 WT module
1) Never immerse the ilmo2 WT module in liquid.
2) Never pierce the ilmo2 WT module.
