2.3.2 Locks and rigid links
After having affixed the roller shutter to the
-
roller tube, check that when the roller shutter
is in the lower end limit position, the rigid link/
bolt is correctly positioned and that the first slat
is vertically between the runners (as per F). If
necessary, adjust the number of slates used to
improve the position of the bolt/rigid link when
the roller shutter is in the lower end limit position.
Always refer to the manufacturer's size and
-
weight charts and fitting recommendations for
the rigid links or locks to select those suited to
the roller shutter used.
Caution: Use at least 2 bolts or 2 rigid links to
attach the roller shutter to the roller tube.
3. Kit contents
The ilmo2 50 S WT motor comprises two insepa-
rable components:
the s tubular module (D).

the ilmo2 WT module (E),
-
4. Installation
It is essential to follow the order of assembly given
in the guide.
4.1 Assembling the ilmo2 WT module
Caution! The adhesive supplied is for single use
only. Always use the adhesive supplied by Somfy.
The use of any other adhesive is forbidden.
Caution: If the roller shutter is not fitted with a
flange, it is necessary to use some means of
attachment, such as a rilsan collar, along with
some adhesive. The additional means of attach-
ment chosen must hold the ilmo2 WT module
inside the end piece regardless of the conditions of
use of the roller shutter.
Clean the inner face of the head rail end piece
1)
(F).
Remove the protector from the adhesive stuck
2)
to the ilmo2 WT module (E).
Affix the ilmo2 WT module (E) to the head rail
3)
end piece (F).
Recommended: Pass the power supply cable
through a cable grommet fixed in the headrail to
ensure the cable is not under strain..
