4. MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it from the power source.
To extend the life of the hob, it is recommended to clean it regularly
and carefully. Follow the directions given below:
 Enameled parts and upper glass should be washed with
warm water. Avoid using strong detergents or solvents as
this may damage its finish.
 The removable parts should be washed with plenty of water
and mild detergent. Always be sure to remove any food that
may have adhered to it.
 For those models with automatic ignition, be sure to clean
the electronic ignition device frequently being careful not to
damage it. Make sure that the gas outlet holes are not
blocked or obstructed.
 The stainless steel surface may become stained if it remains
in contact with highly calcareous water or very strong
detergents (containing phosphorus) for long time. To avoid
this, it is recommended that these parts be thoroughly
washed with water and dried completely. It is recommended
to clean any spillage that may occur as soon as possible.
 The removable parts of this hob, such as burners (all
components) and the cast iron supports are not suitable for
dishwasher.

Clean the cooking surface while it is still hot with a cleaning product
suitable for gas hobs. Then use a damp cloth and dry the unit
completely.
Cleaning agents designed for this type of hob will form a
transparent protective layer that helps protect it from accumulated
dirt. Do not use abrasive sponges or cleaners or stain removers
under any circumstances.
