Use
Preparing to put on the full face mask: Loosen the straps as far as
possible.
Putting on the full face mask: Beards and
sideburns in the sealing area of the full face
mask will cause leaks. The mask cannot be
used by wearers with beards and/or
sideburns! Spectacle frames in the sealing
area will similarly cause leaks. Use the mask-
spectacle frame. Place your chin in the chin
trough.
Draw the straps over your head to the rear
until the front strap lies flat.
Adjust the full face mask to fit.
1 Uniformly tighten the neck straps.
2 Uniformly tighten the temple straps.

Negative pressure test
Seal both respiratory filters with your
hands and breathe in until a negative
pressure is created. Hold your breath for
a moment. The negative pressure should
be maintained, otherwise adjust the
straps. Repeat the leak test twice.
Only enter the contaminated area if the
full face mask is without leaks and
respiratory filters have been fitted.
Check exhalation valve: Seal both respiratory filters with your hands
and breathe out strongly. The exhaled air must escape without
obstruction. If not, see "Visual examination of the exhalation valve"
Use in extreme conditions
At low temperatures: Coat the inside of the visor with "klar-pilot" gel to

. The exhalation valve disc may become hard.
Test for leaks with additional care.
