4.1 STARTING OF THE
MOTORCYCLE
After getting on the motorcycle, as in-
dicated in the relevant paragraph, to
start the engine proceed as follows:
NOTE: The motorcycle will not start if the
side stand is down.
- Put the key (1) of the ignition switch
in the "
" position.

- The warning light "
", lights up
for a few seconds and then goes off
while the "
", "
" lights re-
ABS
main on until the motorcycle is start-
ed.
- Make sure that the throttle grip (2) is
fully released.
- Pull one of the two brake levers.
- Press the engine start button (3)
and release it as soon as the engine
starts.

NOTE: The "ABS" warning light remains
on until the vehicle reaches a speed of 10
km / h (6mi / h) and then goes off.
NOTE: Do not run the cold engine at a
high number of revolutions to allow the oil
to heat and circulate in all points that need
lubrication.
