Periodic maintenance
Periodic inspections, adjustments and
lubrications keep the motorcycle in the
best possible conditions of safety and
efficiency. The most important points
relating to motorcycle checks, adjust-
ments and lubrication are illustrated
on the following pages.
The maintenance intervals shown in
the table should only be considered
as a general guide under normal rid-
ing conditions. However, it may be
necessary to reduce maintenance
intervals depending on climatic con-
ditions, terrain, geographical position,
and individual use.
WARNING
Lack of maintenance or in-
correct maintenance of the
motorcycle can increase the
risk of injury or death while
using the vehicle. Have the
maintenance carried out by
an Italjet dealer or profes-
sional
repairer.
WARNING
Before carrying out any main-
tenance
operation,
that you have the necessary
tools, components, and tech-
nical skills.
- Switch off the engine and
park the motorcycle on a
flat and solid surface.
- Wait for the engine, silenc-
er, and brake disks to cool
down.

WARNING
If you use the vehicle on
dusty, muddy, or very wet
roads, it is necessary to clean
/ replace the air filter with a
shorter maintenance interval.
