- Remove the filter (5) and clean it with
suitable detergents.
WARNING
Do not use petrol or other
flammable solvents to clean
the filter.
- Check that the filter is not worn or
damaged, replace it if necessary.
- Refit the filter (5) proceeding in the
reverse order to disassembly.

5.1.g Spark plug check
WARNING
Wait until the engine has
cooled down before carry-
ing out the check, danger of
burns.
The distance between the spark plug
electrodes (1) must be 0.6 ÷ 0.7 mm.
A different distance can cause the mo-
torcycle to malfunction.
- Remove the cap (1).
- Using the appropriate key, remove
the spark plug (2).

5.1.h Check tires and relative
pressure
It is essential to always keep your tires
in good condition and replace them at
the proper intervals with tires accord-
ing to specification.
Always check and, if necessary, ad-
just the tire pressure before setting off.
WARNING
Using the motorcycle with an
incorrect tire pressure can
cause serious injury or death
as a result of loss of control.
- Check and adjust the tire
pressure when cold (ie
when the tire temperature
equals the ambient temper-
ature).
- The tire pressure must be
adjusted according to the
total weight of the rider,
passenger, load and ac-
cessories approved for this
model.
