11.4 Replacing the Battery

The scale is powered by a nine-volt alkaline battery that should provide approximately 1500 readings before needing
replacement.
When battery replacement is needed, LO BAT will appear on the display. To replace the battery:
1. Slide the battery door open in the direction of the arrow.
2. Remove the existing battery.
3. Install the new battery.
4. Reinstall the battery door.

11.5 Calibrating the Reliant Scale

The Reliant Scale will be calibrated at the factory with the load cell. Should it be necessary to recalibrate the scale,
complete the following instructions.
