10.2 Use in multiple fluorescence
• It is possible to work in multiple fluorescence, activating
two or more LEDs simultaneously. Of course, fluores-
cence filter selection will have to be done manually by
rotating the filter turret according to the currently active
LEDs.
1. Press the selection keys ③ of the LEDs you want to activate.
(Fig. 26)
• All selected LED sources within the fluorescence light
source light up.
2. Each selected indicator LED ⑨ lights up in green. (Fig. 31)
• Only one of the illuminated indicator LEDs will be lit red
(Fig. 31). This indicates which LED source can be adjust-
ed in intensity by means of the "+" e "-" keys ⑦. (Fig. 29)
3. Each selected LED light intensity level ⑩ of the selected LED
lights up. (Fig. 31)
4. Press the "LED 1/2/3/4/" key ⑪. (Fig. 32)
5. A single press of the key ⑪ cyclically selects one of the in-
dicator LEDs ⑨, by turning the relevant LED red. (Fig. 31)
6. Rotate the fluorescence filter turret ⑥ to insert into the light
path the fluorescence filter corresponding to the activated
LED. (Fig. 28)
7. While observing in the eyepieces increase or decrease the
fluorescence light intensity using the "+" or "-" keys ⑦. (Fig.
29).
8. The numbers "10", "20", "40", "60", 80" or "100" ⑩ will turn on
or off according to the selected light intensity. (Fig. 31)
9. Begin the fluorescence observation.
10. To change fluorescence: rotate the fluorescence filter turret
⑥.
• If it is necessary to vary the light intensity of the LED
source according to the fluorescence filter inserted,
press the "LED 1/2/3/4/" key ⑪, (Fig. 32), in order to use
the "+" and "-" keys for that specific LED.
