TROUBLESHOOTING

If the equipment appears not to be working correctly, read the instructions again and then check
the Table 5 at page 25.
Problem
The charging unit does not
switch on (none of the LEDs
light up).
The yellow battery LED
(check) of the charging unit
is ON.
The yellow battery LED
(check) of the charging unit
is ON.
There is no light emission
when the on/off button of
the starlight pro is pressed
and an acoustic signal is
produced (2 beeps).
An acoustic signal is
produced at the end of the
exposure cycle (2 beeps).
An acoustic signal (3
beeps) is produced during
the exposure cycle and
at the end of the cycle
starlight pro will not allow
any further treatment to be
carried out.
The polymerisation is
insufficient.

Possible Cause
The power cable is not
correctly connected.
The power cable is faulty.
The charging unit is out of
order.
The contacts of the charging
unit have been short-
circuited.
Battery failed.
Battery discharged.
Battery low.
The thermal protection has
been activated.
The terminal surface of the
tip of the optical fibre is
soiled.
Solution
Connect the cable both to
the charging unit and to the
wall socket.
Replace the power cable.
Contact an authorised
MECtrON technical
assistance centre.
