BOOST FUNCTION

Step 4 on the hood is a boost function. The hood will run in boost mode for about 5 minutes
and will hereafter return to step 3 automatically.
LIGHT
The light in the hood is turned on and off by pressing on the "on/off light" button.
AFTER-RUN
After-run means that the motor will stop automatically a given number of minutes after the
function has been activated. After-run can be activated for 10 to 90 minutes, and runs at the
selected speed.
After-run is activated in the following way:
• Switch on the hood to the desired speed.
• Press on the button on/off after-run.
• The indicator will now flash with the number 0.
• Use the (+)- and (-)-buttons to adjust the time that the after-run should be active. Select
1 and the after-run will be active for 10 minutes, select 2 and the after-run will be active
for 20 minutes and so on. The after-run function can be active for a maximum of 90 minutes.
• Confirm the selected time by pressing the button on/off after-run.
• The speed indicator will now show the speed at which the motor runs and the panel
indicator will flash to indicate the after-run function is activated.
The after-run function can be interrupted by pressing on the button on/off after-run or by
switching off the hood, as described in the section EXTRACTION on page 67. If the after-run
function is interrupted, then the panel indicator will stop flashing.
If needed the speed of the after-run function can be regulated after it has been activated. This
is done using the (+)- and (-)-buttons until the desired speed has been reached. The panel
indicator will continue to flash to indicate the after-run function is activated.
RECIRCULATION
The hood can be used for recirculation. This is used in kitchens and in locations where
there is no possibility for vent to the outside. The air is sucked first through the grease filter
and then through a filter with activated carbon which removes odours.
NOTE: A recirculation filter must be bought separately. The product number of the recirculation
filter is 35.23.0575.9.
