Troubleshooting

Cause
Power cord is not plugged in.
Fuse or circuit breaker tripped. Replace fuse or reset tripped circuit
Cord damaged.
Burned out switch.
Extension cord too light or too
long.
Low house voltage.
Failure to tighten tilt lock han-
dle.
Blade out of balance.
Saw not mounted securely to
stand or workbench.
Arbor Nut not tight.
Miter Gauge not adjusted prop-
erly.
Dull blade with improper tooth
set.
Warped board.
Rip fence not parallel to blade.
Spreader out of alignment.
Alignment screws not adjusted
properly.
Blade tilt lock handle not loos-
ened when making tilt adjust-
ment.
Saw dust on depth screw
threads.
Corrective Action
Plug saw in.

Have cord replaced by an Authorized
Bosch Service Center or Service Sta-
tion.
