Sending Emergency Alarms with Emergency Calls
Procedure:
1 Press the programmed Emergency button.
Your radio shows the following indications:
•
The radio displays the confirmation message of a successful or unsuccessful
acknowledgment from the dispatcher.
•
The radio exits Emergency Alarm and enters the Emergency Call state.
2 Perform one of the following actions based on the type of emergency call:

a Press and hold the PTT button.
b Speak into the microphone.
c To end the transmission and wait for a
response from the dispatcher, release
