Troubleshooting guide
DANGER
Inadvertently starting up device, touching live com-
ponents
Risk of injury, electric shock
Switch off the device before performing any work on the
device.
Remove the mains plug.
Blower motor not running
No mains voltage
1. Check the power protection, power supply and the
supply line.
2. Contact Customer Service.
Level switch in the fuel tank switched off the device
1. Refill the fuel.
Winding protection contact of the blower motor has
tripped
1. Set the power switch of the hot water generator to
the "0/OFF" position.
2. Allow the device to cool down.
3. Switch the device on.
Malfunction occurs repeatedly
1. Contact Customer Service.
Exhaust gas thermostat has tripped and switched off the
burner
1. Contact Customer Service.
Burner not igniting
Water shortage
1. Check the water connection and the supply lines.
2. Clean the sieve in the water shortage safeguard.
Fuel prefilter dirty
1. Clean/change the fuel prefilter.
Fuel filter dirty
1. Clean/replace the fuel filter.
No ignition spark
1. If no ignition spark is visible through the sight glass
during operation, have the device checked by Cus-
tomer Service.
Water flow too weak
1. Increase the water flow.
High-pressure inlet and high-pressure outlet connected
the wrong way round
1. Connect the high-pressure inlet and high-pressure
outlet correctly.
Burner does not switch off despite the water short-
age
Leak in the high-pressure system
1. Check the high-pressure system and the connec-
tions for leaks.
Reed switch stuck in the water shortage safeguard or
magnetic piston stuck
1. Contact Customer Service.
Customer Service department
If the malfunction cannot be corrected, the device must
be checked by the Customer Service department.
Warranty
The warranty conditions issued by our relevant sales
company apply in all countries. We shall remedy possi-
ble malfunctions on your appliance within the warranty
period free of cost, provided that a material or manufac-
turing defect is the cause. In a warranty case, please
contact your dealer (with the purchase receipt) or the
next authorised customer service site.
