INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
AUTONOMY COMPONENTS
The Nilfisk Liberty SC60 can function autonomously meaning that it functions (operates) on its own, on a route determined by an operator without
further operator involvement. The machine can be taught an area to clean independently and actively maneuver around certain obstacles.
Components that make up the Autonomy system, and their basic function, include the following (shown in Figure 1-1):
BrainOS Software Platform (not shown). Enables machines to navigate complex environments by accessing sensors to scan environment.

14 2D Drop-Off LIDAR - Drop-off Laser, detects drop-offs, or major changes in floor elevation
22 2D Mapping LIDAR - Mapping Laser, provides detection of obstacles in front of the machine
50 Front 2D Environment Camera - provides an image of the area in front of the machine
51 Front 3D Obstacle Camera - provides a three-dimensional image of the area in front of the machine
52 2D Environment Camera (Left and Right) - provides an image of the areas to the left and right of the machine
53 3D Obstacle Camera (Left and Right) - provides a three-dimensional image of the areas to the left and right of the machine
