Problem
The burner will not
light with the igniter.
Potential cause
Gas problems:
You tried to light the
wrong burner
The burner is not
supplied with gas via
the regulator valve.
Blockage in the burner.
No gas flow.
Vapour barrier on the
union nut of the gas
cylinder.
The union nut on the
gas cylinder valve is
not properly tightened.
Prevention / Solution
See the instructions for
lighting the grill in the
"Operation" section.
Make sure that the valves
inside the burner tubes are
positioned correctly.
Make sure that the burner
tubes are not blocked by
cobwebs or other matted
parts, see section "Cleaning
and Maintenance"
Make sure that the gas
bottle is not empty. See
"Sudden drop in gas flow"
(below).
Set the knobs to "OFF" and
loosen the union nut on the
gas bottle. Reconnect the
gas bottle and try to light
the burner again.
Turn the union nut about
half to three quarters.
