CLEANING AND CARE
CAUTION
Risk of burns! All cleaning and maintenance work must only be carried
out when the gas grill has cooled down and the connection to the gas
cylinder has been disconnected.
• It is recommended that the gas grill be serviced by a competent technician at least
once a year. Do not attempt to service the device yourself.
• Allow the grill to "burn off" (about 15 minutes) after each use to minimize food
residue on the grill grate.
Cleaning the Outer Surfaces
• Use a mild detergent or baking soda and hot water. A non-abrasive scouring
powder can be used for stubborn stains. Then rinse it off with clear water.
• If the inside surface of the grill cover looks like peeling paint, grease has built up
there. Clean them with hot soapy water. Then rinse the affected areas with clear
water and let them dry completely.
Note: Never use oven cleaner for cleaning.
Cleaning the Inner Surfaces
Remove food residue with a brush, scraper and/or cleaning pad, then wash with soapy
water. Then rinse with clear water and let everything dry.
Cleaning the Plastic Surfaces
Rub the plastic surfaces with a soft cloth and a hot soapy solution. Then rinse off with
clear water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, degreasers or a highly concentrated grill
cleaner.
Cleaning the Grill Grid
Clean the grill grid with a mild soap solution. A non-abrasive scouring powder can be
used for stubborn stains. Then rinse the grill grid with clear water and let it dry.
