Comfort adjustments
The following adjustments should be done before starting your scooter.
CAUTION
Make sure that your hands/fingers won't get entrapped during scooter adjustment.
3.5.1 Sit position
For a comfortable and safe ride it is advised to:
• adjust tiller height to your body length; see § 3.5.2;
• turn the armrests upward, if applicable; see § 3.5.3;
• use the rotatable seat correctly, if applicable; see § 3.5.4;
• sit down on the seat with your lower back against the backrest;
• keep your feet on the foot plate.
CAUTION
• Make sure that no loose clothing can get caught by wheels or tiller.
• Do not lean too far to the left/right/front/back of the scooter to prevent tipping over. Please pay
specially attention when you are negotiating slopes and obstacles.
3.5.2 Tiller
Adjust the height of the tiller with operating console, so you can operate
levers and buttons easily.
Height
1. Loosen knob (10) of the height adjustment.
2. Raise or lower the operating console with the hand grips.
3. Tighten the knob again.
4. Make sure that the height adjustment is well secured.
