During operation, the currently set pulse frequency can be displayed by briefly pressing
Changing pulse
frequency
and releasing the button .
If the button is pressed again within the following 3 seconds, the pulse frequency can be
changed. In addition to the frequencies generated by the internal quartz oscillator of 50,
60 and 100 Hz, the light frequency detected by the photodiode can also be applied as
the pulse frequency in order to synchronise with the mains frequency. To do so, press
the button repeatedly until the display shows the following:
However, this method of frequency synchronisation only functions if the photodiode can
absorb sufficient light from a light source powered by mains voltage (in which case the

symbol appears on the display).
Should that not be that case, the display shows the following error message:
