NOTICE

i
The optional filling panels are used for the
simultaneous filling of up to 4 or up to 6 compressed
gas cylinders. The filling panels as well as all tubes are
not included in the scope of delivery for the Dräger
Oxygen Booster 200 ECO.
2.2
Feature description
The Dräger Oxygen Booster 200 ECO (DOB 200 ECO) is an
oxygen filling pump used for filling and compressing oxygen
and breathing gas enriched with oxygen. In this process, the
oxygen provided on the operator side of at least 50 bar/725 psi
to max. 200 bar/2900 psi (type A) or 207 bar/3000 psi (type B)
is compressed briefly to max. 215+3 bar/3120+43.5 psi
(type A) or 228+3 bar/3300+43.5 psi (type B) using a piston
pump. Here the oxygen is compressed directly into the
compressed gas containers being filled. When the maximum
filling pressure is reached in the compressed gas containers
being filled, the DOB 200 ECO switches off automatically.
NOTICE
i
i
For simplification, only the terms "Gas" and "Gas
supply" are used in the instructions below.
2.3
Intended use
The DOB 200 ECO is solely intended for filling and
compressing oxygen or breathing gas enriched with oxygen
from a gas supply provided by the customer.
2.4
Limitation of the intended use
Any use other than that described in the "Intended use"
chapter should be regarded as incorrect use.
The following uses for the DOB 200 ECO are considered,
among others, to be incorrect:
Using the DOB 200 ECO to fill gases other than oxygen or
breathing gases enriched with oxygen.
Using the DOB 200 ECO with compressed gas containers
other than those prescribed.
Using the DOB 200 ECO outside a pressure range of max.
200 bar/2900 psi (type A) or 207 bar/3000 psi (type B).
Operating the DOB 200 ECO continuously for longer than
4 hours and not observing the prescribed break of 3 hours.

WARNING
!
Risk of injury and risk of equipment damage due to
compressed gas containers that are too heavy.
When using compressed gas containers that are too
large or too heavy, there is a risk of the DOB 200 ECO
tipping over and the stability of the equipment being
impaired.
Filling panel for four compressed gas cylinders
The maximum load of 6.2 kg per filling connection may
not be exceeded. Take note of the final weight
permitted for the filled compressed gas cylinder
including filling medium and filling valve.
Filling panel for six compressed gas cylinders
The maximum load of 5 kg per filling connection may
not be exceeded. Take note of the final weight
permitted for the filled compressed gas cylinder
including filling medium and filling valve.
WARNING
!
Risk of injury and risk of equipment damage when
supporting yourself or pulling yourself up on the
mounted filling panel.
Using the filling panel to support yourself or pull
yourself up is not permitted as this may cause the DOB
200 ECO to fall over or the filling panel may become
damaged.
WARNING
!
Risk of injury and risk of equipment damage if the filling
panel is mounted incorrectly or insufficiently.
During the filling process, the poorly mounted filling
panel may start to move and thus cause injury to
nearby persons or damage property.
WARNING
!
Risk of injury and risk of equipment damage if
compressed gas cylinders are not secured or or
secured insufficiently.
When filling compressed gas cylinders with tubes, the
compressed gas cylinders must be secured against
any uncontrolled movement using suitable means.
Otherwise, filling is not permitted.
CAUTION
!
Risk of contamination of the DOB 200 ECO.
There is a risk of the connections becoming
contaminated when removing the sealing caps.
Remove all sealing caps only immediately before use.
After use, replace the sealing caps back onto the
connections immediately.
CAUTION
!
Risk of equipment damage due to the overheating of
the DOB 200 ECO.
It is not permitted to continuously operate the DOB
200 ECO for longer than 4 hours. After the 4 hours,
there must be a break of 3 hours in order to allow the
DOB 200 ECO to cool down.
