d. Push the fixing holes
of the filling panel
underneath the star
knob
screw
heads
until the filling panel is
lying completely on
the front edge of the
DOB and meeting the
inner edge. The filling
panel may not be
mounted at an angle
or beyond the inner
edge, otherwise the
secure position of the
DOB 200 ECO cannot be guaranteed.
2. Tighten the two knurled screws/star knob screws to the
right by hand.
3. Turn the sealing caps from the input connection on the
filling panel (fig. 2, pos. 15) and the connection hose of the
filling panel (fig. 2, pos. 16) to the left and remove them.
4. Connect the connection hose of the filling panel (fig. 2, pos.
16) to the input connection on the filling panel (fig. 2, pos.
15) and tighten the fastener hand-tight by turning to the
right.
5. A maximum of 4 or 6 compressed gas containers may be
connected to the filling panel. Turn the required number of
sealing caps to the left and remove. The remaining
connections must remain sealed.
6. Connect the required number of compressed gas
containers to be filled to the filling panel outlets and tighten
by hand by turning to the right. This can be done in any
order and the filling panel outlets may be freely selected.
The filling panel is fitted and the compressed gas containers to
be filled are connected.

During use

WARNING
!
Risk of uncontrolled gas leaks!
When no compressed gas containers are connected to
the outlet connections, or if the vent valve is open, gas
may leak out in an uncontrolled way.
Do not use the DOB 200 ECO when outlet connections
are open or the vent valve is open.
Use the DOB 200 ECO for filling the gas as follows:
1. Ensure that all steps for preparing the equipment for use
have been carried out correctly (see chapter 3.2 on page
20).
2. Slowly open the shut-off valve on the gas supply.
3. Read the gas supply filling pressure on the inlet pressure
gauge (fig. 1, pos. 2). Ensure that the pressure is at least
50 bar/750 psi and max. 200 bar/2900 psi (type A) or
207 bar/3000 psi (type B).
4. Turn the shut-off valves of the compressed gas containers
to be filled to the left and open completely.

Overflow
In step 4, the gas from the gas supply must be overflowed into
the compressed gas container being filled without the use of
the pump.
5. Slowly turn the filling valve (fig. 1, pos. 4) to the left and
open fully. The gas will audibly start to overflow into the
connected compressed gas containers. Wait until the gas
overflows.
The overflow process is complete when no more noise is
audible.
The gas has overflowed. A pressure equalization is
established between the gas supply and the compressed gas
containers to be filled.
Pumping
The gas in the compressed gas container to be filled can be
compressed using the pump by following the steps below.
6. Turn the main switch (fig. 1, pos. 10) to ON.
7. Switch on the pump by pressing the green on/off switch
(fig. 1, pos. 9).
8. Switch off the pump by pressing the red on/off switch (fig.
1, pos. 9) as soon as the required filling pressure has been
reached.
The pump shuts off automatically once a filling pressure of
approx. 215+3 bar/3150+43.5 psi (type A) or 228+3 bar/
3300+43.5 psi (type B) has been reached.
9. If the inlet pressure is too low, the DOB does not shut off
automatically and the inlet pressure gauge shows no or
insufficient pressure (< 50 bar/750 psi) in the gas supply;
follow the chapter "Replacing the gas supply" on page 22.
The compressed gas containers to be filled have been filled.
3.4
Replacing the compressed gas
containers
In order to fill several compressed gas containers one after the
other without switching off the DOB 200 ECO, the following
information must be observed.
1. Turn the shut-off valves on the filled compressed gas
containers to the right and close handtight.
2. Turn the filling valve (fig. 1, pos. 4) to the right and close
hand-tight.
3. Open the vent valve (fig. 1, pos. 7) by turning slowly to the
left and de-pressurize the DOB 200 ECO. Wait until the
gas in the pipes and tubes comes out audibly.
The gas in the DOB 200 ECO is only released from the
filling valve to the compressed gas container in this
process.
4. Unfasten the filled compressed gas container from the
DOB 200 ECO or optionally, if a filling panel is fitted, turn
the compressed air container connections to the left from
the filling panel (fig. 2, pos. 13) and detach the compressed
gas containers.
5. Connect the tube line to the new compressed gas
container to be filled and hand-tighten by turning to the
right or optionally, if a filling panel is fitted, connect the
required number of compressed gas containers to be filled
to the filling panel outlets (fig. 2, pos. 14) and turn hand-
tight to the right to close. In this process, it is not necessary
to follow any particular order and the filling panel outlets
(fig. 2, pos. 14) can be freely selected. The remaining
connections must remain sealed.
6. Turn the vent valve (fig. 1, pos. 7) to the right and close
hand-tight.
