Disposal

13. If point 12. identifies that all hoses and connections are
tight, but a pressure drop still occurs, the DOB 200 ECO
must be inspected by authorized expert personnel and
repaired, if necessary. Until that point, the DOB 200 ECO
is not permitted to be used.
The leak test has been completed.
Checking the safety valve
The requirement for testing the safety valve is a gas supply
with at least 190 bar/2750 psi and max. 200 bar/2900 psi
(type A) or 207 bar/3000 psi (type B) filling pressure.
The safety valve (fig. 1, pos. 8) should be tested as follows:
1. Make sure the steps from chapter "Preparations for use" on
page 20 have been followed and, if a filling panel is being
used, also the steps from chapter "Mounting the filling
panel" on page 20.
2. Ensure that any compressed gas containers connected are
closed. The compressed gas containers are closed when
their shut-off valves cannot be turned any further to the
right.
3. Slowly open the shut-off valve on the gas supply.
4. Slowly turn the filling valve (fig. 1, pos. 4) to the left and
open fully.
5. Read off the pressure displayed on the inlet pressure
gauge (fig. 1, pos. 2) and on the filling pressure gauge (fig.
1, pos. 5).
6. The pressure displayed must be at least 190 bar/2750 psi.
7. Press the clip on the safety valve downwards carefully and
briefly. The safety valve is functioning correctly when gas is
escaping audibly and the safety valve then closes again
automatically and no more gas is escaping.
8. De-pressurize the DOB 200 ECO as described in chapter
"After use" on page 22.
9. If the safety valve does not close independently or the gas
cannot be heard audibly escaping when the bow is pressed
down, the safety valve on the DOB 200 ECO must be
checked by authorized personnel and replaced if
necessary.
The test on the safety valve is complete.
Checking the screen inserts and sealing rings for the DOB
200 ECO, the filling panel and the tube lines
The requirement for testing the screen inserts and sealing
rings is that the DOB 200 ECO has been prepared as
described in chapter "After use" on page 22.
Check the screen inserts and sealing rings on the connections
of the DOB 200 ECO, the filling level and the hose lines as
follows:
1. Unscrew the sealing caps from the connections by turning
to the left.
2. Unscrew the screen inserts from the connections and
check for contamination.
3. Replace the screen inserts in the event of visible
contamination.
4. Check the condition of the sealing rings and replace if there
are any visible signs of wear.
5. Screw the screen inserts in hand-tight by turning to the
right and fit the sealing rings.
6. Screw in the sealing caps hand-tight by turning to the right.
The process of testing the screen inserts and sealing rings is
complete.
