6 Description and function
6. 1 Description of the equipment
The AnaCon analogue interface converter converts the PLR interface (point-to-
point interface) of pumps with communication facility into:
• Potential-free signal contacts and signal lamps
• Inputs for potential-free control contacts
• Analogue control input 0-10 V
Pumps that can be connected: 1 pump (single or double)
Pump types that can be connected: Cf.: Tab. 1.
NOTE:
• Double pumps must always be equipped with integrated dual pump
management.
• In the case of double pumps, the PLR interface of the master is connected to the
interface converter.
• If integrated dual pump management is not used for double pumps, both drives
must be treated as two separate single-head pumps.
• Control functions relate to the double pump as a complete unit.
