• Remove the screw on top of the air filter cover (a) and carefully
remove the cover from the housing (c) so that no debris enters the
carburetor.
• Remove the filter (b) from the cover (a).
• Check the condition of the filter - if it is dirty, clean it by rinsing it in
warm water with the addition of mild soap. The filter must be
completely dry before it is reinstalled in the machine. If the filter
shows signs of damage, replace it with a new one.
• IMPORTANT: The air filter must not be blown out with compressed air
or rinsed in solvents!
• Install in the reverse order of removal.
m) Changing the engine oil:
Place the machine on a flat surface, switch on the machine and warm
•
up the engine for a few minutes, then switch it off.
•
Pull out the oil filler cap with the dipstick (i).
Place a container under the engine at the drain plug (j) to collect the
•
oil.
•
Unscrew the oil drain plug (j) and drain all the oil - until it stops flowing
out.
•
Replace the drain plug (j) and refill with fresh oil through the plug with
the dipstick hole (i) as described earlier in this manual.
n) Prolonged non-use of the machine:
If the machine is not used for more than a month, it is necessary to:
Empty the fuel from the tank or add a fuel stabilizer to it according to
•
the manufacturer's proportion of the additive.
NOTE: do not keep fuel in a tank with a stabilizer for longer than the
manufacturer of the additive recommends!
