1.22. Intended use
The SIS Easy anti-collision device has been designed and built for use as an aid in manoeuvring industrial vehicles. It is an assistance
system to manoeuvring that detects obstacles in order to prevent the risk of collision during manoeuvres in reverse by highlighting
eventual obstacles within the range.
The SIS Easy anti-collision system is designed solely for this purpose. It must never be used for any other purpose. The Manufacturer
disclaims all liability for damage or injury due to incorrect use of the anti-collision device.
Figure 4 on the left shows the area within
which the sensor can detect obstacles. The
area was obtained by taking as a reference
an aluminium pipe with an outside diameter
of 86 mm and height 120 cm.
The intervention range of the anti-collision
device can be determined within the
coverage area according to the selected
preset.
