About the charger
CAUTION!
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage,
• Do not install or place this charger in a bookcase, built-in cabinet or
in any other confined space. Ensure it is well ventilated.
Charger
This charger operates on AC between 110V and 240V.
But
• In the U.S.A. and Canada, the charger must be connected to a
120V AC power supply only.
• When connecting to an AC supply outside of the U.S.A. or
Canada, use a plug adaptor to suit the AC outlet configuration.
• The charger is in the standby condition when it is connected.
The primary circuit is always "live" as long as the charger is connected to an
electrical outlet.
Cautions for Use
• Do not use any other AV cables except the supplied one.
• Do not use any other USB cables except the supplied one.
• Always use the genuine Leica HDMI mini cable (available as accessory →43).
Keep this camera as far away as possible from electromagnetic equipment
(such as microwave ovens, TVs, video games etc.).
• If you use this camera on top of or near a TV, pictures and/or sound recorded
with the camera may be disrupted by electromagnetic fields.
• Do not use this camera near cell phones because doing so may result in noise
adversely affecting the pictures and/or sound.
• Recorded data may be damaged, or pictures may be distorted, by strong
magnetic fields created by speakers or large motors.
• Electromagnetic fields generated by microprocessors may adversely affect
this camera, disturbing the pictures and/or sound.
• If this camera is adversely affected by electromagnetic equipment and stops
functioning properly, turn it off and remove the battery. Then reinsert the
battery and turn it back on.
Do not use this camera near radio transmitters or high-voltage lines.
• If you record near radio transmitters or high-voltage lines, the recorded
pictures and/or sound may be adversely affected.
For information about the software used for this product, press [MENU/SET]
and select [Setup] to display [Version Disp.] before pressing [MENU/SET]
again.
