Charging the battery
Insert the battery into the
charger
• The terminals should face the charger's
contacts.
Connect the charger to the electrical outlet
• Disconnect the charger from the electrical outlet and detach
the battery after charging is completed.

About batteries that you can use with this unit
The only battery that can be used in this camera is the Leica model
BP-DC10 E/U (→43).
• Use only the dedicated charger and battery.
• The battery is not charged when the camera is shipped. Charge
it and set the clock before use.
• It is recommended to charge the battery indoors at an ambient
temperature (10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F)).
