Caution !
Do not reverse the system polarity while connecting the batteries. The polarity reversal damages the electric card 9 (fig 8).
Battery Charge
When the low battery indicator light 6 lites in red, re-charge the batteries by the suitable plug 12, fitting it in socket 11 and with 12V - 10A battery
charger.
NOTE: Connect the cables of plug 12 on the battery charger before fitting the plug.
Battery Maintenance
The battery must be always kept clean and dry, including the terminal plugs, bolts, etc... About once a week (according to the walk-behind sweeper
use) remove some caps and check the electrolyte level, topping off with distilled water if necessary.
Occasionally check the charger too. The room where the charge is performed must be ventilated. Do not go near to the battery, while charging,
with open flames.
Operating (run) Time
The walk-behind sweeper has a operating (run) time that varies depending on the battery type. If the operating (run) time is much lower, check:

That the broom is not excessively dragging on the ground.

That there are not wire, strings, etc. wound on the main broom or on its sides, thus creating friction and causing an overload.

That the battery is fully charged at the start of sweeping.
