12.2.2. Measuring torques on HCT torque wrenches

ü "Track HCT" mode is selected.
1. Connect torque wrench to the torque tester, see Connecting an HCT torque wrench (only 654410) [} Page 31].
2. Move the torque wrench slowly and evenly.

3. Read off the measurement values of the torque wrench and torque tester on the display of the torque tester.
4. To start a new measurement, press the Send button (6) on the torque tester or torque wrench, or move the torque
wrench in the desired rotation direction again.

1. Set the desired test value on the torque wrench.

2. Configure settings on the torque tester, see Testing triggering and displaying torque wrenches [} Page 32], or create
or activate a test case, see Managing test cases [} Page 28].
3. Move the torque wrench slowly and evenly in the desired direction of rotation until it triggers.

4. Read off the measurement value on the torque tester.
5. To start a new measurement, press the Send button (6) or move the torque wrench in the desired rotation direction
again.

Should the measurement be performed with or without a target value.
Define the desired unit of measure for the torque.
Define the value of the target torque.
Lower tolerance limit for target value.
Upper tolerance limit for target value.
Specify test direction.
Determine the tolerance range between the peak value of the HCT torque
wrench and peak value of the torque tester. (Only with HCT modes for the
654410)
If the test procedure is to be saved as a test case, save the test case and name it.
