CAUTIONS: Do not coil the wiring of the swing motor into the seal sponge.
c) Adjust the four panel hook screws to keep the panel horizontal, and screw them up to the ceiling evenly.
d) Regulate the panel slightly to fit the panels center to the center of the ceiling's opening. Guarantee that hooks of four
corners are fixed well.
e) Keep fastening the screws under the panel hooks, until the thickness of the sponge between the body and the
panel's outlet has been reduced to about 4-6mm. The edge of the panel should contact with the ceiling well.
* Malfunction described can be caused by inappropriate tightness the screw.
* If the gap between the panel and ceiling still exists after fastening the screws, the height of the indoor unit should be
modified again.
* You can modify the height of the indoor unit through the openings on the panel's four corners, if the lift of the indoor
unit and the drainpipe is not influenced.
(4) Hang the air-in grid to the panel, and then connect the lead terminator of the swing motor and that of the control box
with corresponding terminators on the body respectively.
(5) Relocate the air-in grid in the procedure of reversed order.
(6) Relocate the installation cover.
a) Fasten the rope of installation cover on the bolt of the installation cover.
b) Press the installation cover into the panel slightly.
♦
Checking the correct installation of the frame-grille assembly
The frame must not show signs of deformity caused by excessive traction.
It must be centered with respect to the false ceiling and, above all, it must
guarantee an airtight seal between the air inlet and outlet. The figure shows
the airtight seals (A-B), which prevent the air bypass (A) and treated air
leakage (B) inside the false ceiling. After installing the assembly, check that
the gap between the frame and the false ceiling is under 5 mm.
♦
EXTERNAL RENEWAL AIR AND TREATED AIR OUTLET IN AN ADJACENT ROOM
The side openings made it possible to create a separate external renewal
air inlet duct (5) and an air outlet duct in an adjacent room (6).
Remove the external anti-condensation insulation, delimited by the
punching, and remove the pre-cut sheet metal panels using a punch. Use a
pencil to draw round the internal polystyrene (7), and then cut it with a
cutter, taking care not to damage the heat exchange coil behind it.
♦
Air outlet in adjacent room
An air outlet in an adjacent room requires the closure of at least the mouth
corresponding to the duct using the specific kit (blocking outlet mouths). An
air recovery grille should be installed between the air conditioned room
(where the unit is installed) and the adjacent room (near the floor if
possible). Do not use the two pre-cut side openings on the unit at the same
time.
IMPORTANT!
Do not use active carbon or electrostatic filter kits in the presence of ducts to the adjacent room.
Use material suitable for operation at a constant temperature of 60°C. The ducts may be made from flexible polyester
(with a spiral steel core) or corrugated aluminum, clad externally with anti-condensation material (fibre glass of 12 ÷ 25
